MPs matured, united across political divide to greenlight Budget 2021

Datuk Idris Buang ... matured and united lawmakers

KUCHING, Nov 26: The passing of Budget 2021 in parliament today has proven that the lawmakers are mature enough to cross the pollical barrier to be united for the sake of the county in its fight against Covid-19, said PBB information chief Datuk Idris Buang.

He said this also goes to show that their love for the people and country is above their political agenda.

“There would come a time when a politician is confronted with a personal call for duty, commitment, and love for his country which rise above sheer partisan politics.

“This is one such call and I am proud to see such fine breed of politicians in my own homeland, who wisely and selflessly chose to bury “the hatchets and gauntlets of egocentric political animals” and instead rose to the occasion to answer the plea of the nation to pass this much needed Bill that could be its very lifeline amidst the uncertainty posed by the current Covid-19 pandemic.

“Without this bill being passed, it is certainly obvious that all kinds of “uglier and more gruesome faces of instability” would show themselves to the detriment of our people,” Idris said in a statement issued here today.
