KUCHING, Jan 23: Padawan Municipal Council (MPP) will carry out spring cleaning in preparation for the upcoming Chinese New Year celebration from Jan 26 to Feb 9, 2024.
Following this, residents of MPP who are busy preparing for the festivities are reminded to dispose their waste responsibly and keep their neighbourhood areas clean.
Any extra waste should be packed and disposed off properly into the additional bins or roll-on-roll-off (roro) containers provided for bulky waste disposal which are available for use at certain areas under MPP jurisdiction.
The areas include RPR Batu Kawa Lorong 28A (shoplot carpark); Taman Kwong Tiong (near playground); Malihah Commercial Centre (behind H&L); Centre next to JPJ 12th Mile; Batu Kawa Old Bazaar (open space opposite roundabout); 3rd Mile Market; Batu Kawa New Township/MJC Refuse Bin Centre (Block Dd and Block Ae); Lee Ling Temporary Hawker Centre; Pines Square Commercial Centre, Batu Kawa, Lorong 2A 1A; Taman Flora Indah Bin Centre; Batu Kawa Bazaar (Behind Batu Kawa Service Centre); Kuching City Mall (new shoplot parking area at Lorong Kuching City Mall 1A); Taman Sri Cahaya Tondong-Batu Kawa; Moyan Square (Lorong Puteri 1); Matang Jaya Commercial Centre (parking area next to Matang Mall); Jalan Lo Ti Kong (In front temple); Jalan Sin San Tu B; 7th Mile Basketball Court parking lot; and Sejijak (in front of temple). — DayakDaily
