MIRI, Dec 18: A 49-year-old motorcyclist died following a collision with a four-wheel drive (4WD) vehicle at Bekenu Bridge yesterday (Dec 17).
In a statement, Miri OCPD ACP Alexson Naga Chabu said the accident happened around 5.30am.
“The rider died on the spot, as confirmed by medical personnel from the Bekenu Health Clinic, following injuries sustained from the accident,” he said.

The 41-year-old 4WD driver was unharmed.
The case is being investigated under Section 41 (1) of the Road Transport Act 1987. — DayakDaily
