BALINGIAN, Sept 21: A motorcyclist lost his life in a self-accident at Bulatan Balingian yesterday.
Mukah district police chief, DSP Muhamad Rizal Alias said in the 11.30am accident, the victim, 37, was riding his motorcycle from Bulatan Balingian to the old town when he lost control of the machine.
“The motorcycle rammed into a roadside tree on his left side,” he said.
Muhamad Rizal said paramedics from Mukah Hospital pronounced the victim dead due to serious head injury.
He also called on members of the public who might have witnessed the accident to contact investigating officer, Insp Mohd Rahmat at 011-31627137.
The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987. — DayakDaily
