MIRI, Jan 24: A 22-year-old man died after being thrown off his motorcycle when it lost control and skidded while navigating a sharp bend along Jalan Oya at Taman Tunku, here, today.
The victim, Theopilus Ryon Wilfred, 22, was pronounced dead at the scene by the medical personnel from Miri hospital.

Traffic police personnel were immediately rushed to the scene after receiving an alert of the crash, believed to have occurred around 11am.
The body of the victim was found by residents of nearby residential areas and other road users lying nearby his motorcycle.
It was understood that the impact of the crash had caused the victim to land on the side of the monsoon drain.
The body has been taken to Miri hospital morgue. — DayakDaily
