KUCHING, June 20: A motorcyclist sustained injuries after falling onto the ledge of a waterway in an accident near the Mile 12 Jalan Kuching-Serian traffic light in the wee hours this morning.
Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Sarawak responded to an emergency at 2.53am and immediately despatched a team of firefighters from Siburan Station to the scene.

Upon arrival, firefighters found the man lying on the ledge of the waterway and promptly transported him back to the road using a stretcher.
He sustained injuries to his left leg and was given first aid, including the application of a lower limb and cervical collar, before being handed over to a awaiting ambulance. — DayakDaily
