KUCHING, July 2: A 21-year-old motorcyclist succumbed to injuries sustained in a crash with a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) along Jalan Chin Lee Garden in Bintulu today.
According to a report from Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Sarawak operations centre, they received the call regarding the accident at 1.02am and Bomba Bintulu were deployed to the location.
“Upon arrival, firefighters found the victim on the roof of the MPV while the driver was unharmed.

“After lowering the motorcyclist from the roof of the vehicle, the victim was later pronounced dead at the location by a medical officer from the Ministry of Health (MOH),” it said.
It added that the deceased body was later handed over to the police for further action. — DayakDaily
