KUCHING, Dec 9: A motorcyclist in Sibu broke his leg following a road accident along Lorong Permata 8 in Sungai Plan yesterday (Dec 8).
According to a report from the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operation centre, they received a call regarding the incident at 8.55pm and deployed Bomba Kidurong to the location.
The operation commander reported that the incident involved two vehicles, a Perodua Myvi and motorcycle, as the former crashed head on with the motorcycle ridden by the victim.
As a result, the victim broke one of his legs while his motorcycle caught on fire which completely destroyed the machine.
The victim was given initial medical treatment at the location by Bomba Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) before medical personnel treated him.
The Perodua Myvi driver was reportedly unharmed in the incident. — DayakDaily
