Firefighters from the scuba unit (PPDA) found his remains in-between the mangroves 2km away from the Sungai Kuap bridge, along Jalan Kuching-Samarahan.

The victim, 27, was reported missing at 5.11pm yesterday by his mother after he failed to return home since Monday.

It is understood that the deceased had depression over certain health issues.

According to the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba)’s operations centre (PGO), a police report was lodged after his family failed to locate him.
