Missing 75yo man in Kanowit found safe on 2nd day of SAR ops

KUCHING, Dec 8: A 75-year-old man who was reported missing in Kanowit was found safe on the second day of the search and rescue (SAR) operation.

According to a report from the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre today, the victim was found at 5.05pm, about 7km from the longhouse.

The victim was later handed over to family members.

Lai Juing, from Rh Adrian Sungai Ranan, Kanowit, was reported missing at around 3.15pm on Dec 7. — DayakDaily
