Missing 18yo girl with autism from Kpg Murud Suang found dead near durian plantation

Bomba — The remains of the girl were found by search members at 1.17pm near a durian plantation.

KUCHING, June 10: The 18-year-old girl with autism from Kampung Murud Suang, Trusan, who was reported missing, was found dead near a durian plantation.

According to a report from the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre today, the victim’s body was found at about 1.17pm by search personnel.

The body was later handed over to the police for further action.

On June 8, the victim, Stevelyne Sari Simon, was reported missing after leaving home since May 31. — DayakDaily
