MIRI,Sept 21: Miri police is seeking witnesses of a hit-and-run incident that occurred on Tuesday night (Sept 19) at Jalan Desa Senadin I.
According to Miri OCPD ACP Alexson Naga Chabu, the incident had resulted in injuries to a man aged 60.
It is understood that the victim was on his way back home after finishing his jog.
Alexson said the police received a report on the incident around 7.08pm on that same night.
“The victim was found lying on the middle of the road by members of the public who later called for the ambulance,” he said.
The victim is currently at Miri Hospital, receiving medical treatment.
The case is being investigated under Section 43(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
