MIRI, Nov 26: A total 16 Melanau students from higher learning institutions received education assistance from Miri Melanau Association.
The handover ceremony was held today, prior to the association’s 5th Triennial General Meeting (TGM).
Federal Deputy Minister of Health Dato Lukanisman Awang Sauni who is also Sibuti MP handed over the assistance.
Lukanisman, who is also the association’s second advisor also presenting e-Kasih assistance to 10 eligible recipients.
In his opening remarks, Lukanisman reminded members of the association to always remain united.
Also present was Miri Melanau Association’s first advisor Dato Alexander Maiyor and its president Cr Abdullah Jaini.
