MIRI, April 17: Police here showed what they are made of when they managed to recover two four-wheel-drive (4WD) vehicles shortly after they were reported missing yesterday.
In the first incident, a 60-something man lodged a police report after finding his 4×4 vehicle missing at about 5pm. It was earlier parked near a hotel at the Miri Waterfront.
In the second case, a youth in his 20s told police that he discovered his pickup truck that was parked at Taman Bulatan missing at about 7pm.
Police found the 4×4 vehicle near an eatery at Luak at about 10.15pm. Ten minutes later, they spotted the pickup truck somewhere in the city centre. — DayakDaily
