MIRI, Sept 29: The police are investigating a viral video showing two men attacking one another here at Jalan Permaisuri, says Miri OCPD ACP Alexson Naga Chabu.
“We have received two reports pertaining to the incident on September 24 at 8.06pm,” he said.
He added that the two men in the video had come forward to assist in the police investigation.
The 19-second video, which had gone viral on social media, shows two men hitting each other at the roadside of Jalan Permaisuri.
“We are still conducting an investigation over the incident to ascertain the actual cause,” said Alexson.
The case is being investigated under Section 323 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing hurt. — DayakDaily
