“Though the appointed officers will undertake additional assignments apart from their normal duties in the council, nevertheless, I am confident that during this period, they can discharge their duties to the best of their abilities.

“In this respect, I wish them ‘Selamat Bertugas’ and all the best in their undertakings,” he said after chairing the 10th Ordinary Meeting of MCC 2022 held at the MCC building in Miri today, according to a statement.

During the meeting, Yii presented certificate of appreciation to three councillors and nine council staff who had attended the ‘CPR, First Aid and Safety Course’ programme organised by the MCC Sub-Committee for Health, Safety & Environment in conjunction with Miri Red Crescent Society’s Training Institute from July 5 to 7. — DayakDaily
