MIRI, Nov 21: An elderly woman was horrified to see a cobra when she was just about to clean the drain of her house at Prima Villa in Permyjaya here yesterday morning.
The one-metre-long venomous reptile was spotted slithering into the drain from outside the house compound at about 9.05am.
The woman immediately called her 50-year-old son, who then alerted Miri Civil Defence Force (APM) for assistance.
It took the APM personnel less than 15 minutes to catch the slithery one.
No one was hurt during the incident. — DayakDaily
