MIRI, Dec 8: In a harrowing incident early this morning at Jalan Medical Miri, a male driver of a Toyota Vios miraculously escaped unscathed after his vehicle quickly caught fire following a collision with another car.
The swift response of a team of firefighters from Miri Sentral was crucial, having been mobilised immediately after they were alerted to the incident at 6.45am.
Upon arrival at the scene of the crash, a spokesperson from the Miri Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) reported that the man’s vehicle was fully engulfed in flames.
The operation, which involved efforts to extinguish the fire and secure the area, concluded at around 7.55am.
Remarkably, both car drivers involved in the collision were reported to be unharmed in the incident. — DayakDaily
