Minister leads delegation to Germany to finalise exhibit designs for Sarawak Science Centre

KUCHING, May 3: Minister of Education, Innovation, and Talent Development Sarawak Dato Sri Roland Sagah Wee Inn visited Hüttinger, the appointed exhibits designer and fabricator for the Sarawak Science Centre project in Nuremberg, Germany, recently.

During the visit, the delegation from the Ministry of Education, Innovation and Talent Development (MEITD) also engaged in discussions with Hüttinger on various topics, including finalising exhibit types, graphic design, cost estimations, and timeline for exhibit fabrication.

Hüttinger is recognised as a one-stop shop for exhibition planning, design, and fabrication, serving clients across Europe and globally.

According to a statement, the trip also encompassed a factory visit to gain insights into Hüttinger’s manufacturing capabilities.

Subsequently, the delegation visited two renowned science centres: the Experimenta in Heilbronn, Germany, and the Technorama in Winterthur, Switzerland.

The entourage also included Deputy Minister of Talent Development Datuk Francis Harden Hollis, the Ministry’s permanent secretary Datu Azmi Bujang, and Sarawak Science Centre managing director and chief executive officer Ts Dr Peter Morin Nissom. — DayakDaily
