Min Lit Secondary School receives RM500,000 grant for new classrooms

KUCHING, August 31: The state government presented a grant worth RM500,000 to Min Lit Secondary School Batu Kawa yesterday.

According to a press statement, the grant will be used for the purpose of building new classrooms.

The grant was promised to the school by Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg during a state education grant handover ceremony in April this year.

Minister for Local Government and Housing Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian hand over the grant on behalf of the Chief Minister.

The board members of the school expressed their thanks to the state government for the grant. — DayakDaily
