Midnight alert results in capture of 14-feet long python

KUCHING, Oct 6: Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) personnel managed to capture a 14-foot long python lurking within the compound of a house at Taman Pertama, Limbang today.

The firefighters received the alert at 12.24am and immediately went to the scene.

According to a statement from the state Bomba operations centre, the snake weighing 30kg was captured using special tools. The firefighters removed the snake in a sack without further incident before releasing it back into its natural habitat.

The operation was formally ended at 12.45am. — DayakDaily
