According to a press release, the team handed over mooncakes and essential household items to remind the elderly that they remain cherished members of the community.

He expressed gratitude to the home’s management and caregivers for their dedication, noting that their selfless work embodies the true spirit of caring and inclusion.

“The Mid-Autumn Festival is not only a celebration of reunion and gratitude but also a reminder of the importance of compassion and community spirit in building a caring and inclusive society,” Yap said.

The visit wrapped up with laughter, light-hearted conversations and smiles all around—a scene that reflected the true Mid-Autumn message: sharing, caring and unity under one moon. – DayakDaily
