Medical practitioner blackmailed over alleged sexual services

MIRI, July 29: A medical practitioner in his early 30’s lodged a police report here recently after an unknown individual threatened to upload photos of him online if he refused to bank in cash into a bank account given by the said individual.

According to sources, the complainant had received a WhatsApp message from an unknown number accusing him for not paying for sexual services he had earlier.

The unidentified messenger had demanded that the complainant pay RM1,500. If the medical practitioner did not comply, the anonymous individual threatened to expose the former’s photos on social media.


However, the complainant denied the alleged incident took place.

It was understood that on July 27 (Friday) the complainant eventually made the payment and had banked in the requested amount into a specified bank account.

The complainant however still haboured worries, which eventually prompted him to lodge the police report. — DayakDaily
