“(Health Minister) Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba and I have received a list of about 1,500 media practitioners from National Union of Journalists (NUJ) as well as journalist associations in Sarawak and Sabah.

“We would like to announce that we will start vaccinating media practitioners in May,” he said in a joint press conference with Dr Adham in Kuala Lumpur today.

Apart from that, Khairy, who is also Science, Technology and Innovation Minister also gave assurance to the Sarawak government that the immunisation programme in Sarawak will be completed by August 2021.

He added Malaysia has ordered a sufficient supply of Covid-19 vaccines that can cover 110 per cent of the population.

In the meantime, Malaysia is implementing the second phase of the Covid-19 immunisation programme, which is for the elderly, the disabled and those with comorbidities. — DayakDaily
