MCO food aid delivery to 3,104 Mambong households starts today

KUCHING, April 8: The Movement Control Order (MCO) food delivery programme for the Mambong constituency started today from its base at the Bayur sub-district office.

The food items include sugar and rice, amongst others.

The food will be supplied to 70 localities including housing estates and villages, and will be distributed by zones.

A total of 3,104 households will receive the assistance based on lists provided by village chiefs and their representatives.

Terence Tikok Pirus, who is the private secretary to Mambong assemblyman Datuk Dr Jerip Susil was present to brief the delivery team.

He gave assurance that all recipients, based on lists provided available at the Bayur sub-district office, will not be left out.

Meanwhile, Puncak Borneo MP Willie Mongin has also started delivering food items to households based on lists provided by village chiefs and their representatives. — DayakDaily
