MCC disinfects seven locations, including wet markets

MIRI, March 25: Miri City Council (MCC) has started disinfecting public markets and two government buildings today as part of its effort to contain the spread of Covid-19.

“The MCC Public Health team has started to disinfect our public markets including public toilets and we’ll do it on alternate days during the MCO,” revealed Mayor Adam Yii.


Today, the team carried out disinfection operations at seven locations: MCC building; UTC Miri; Pasar Besar Miri; Pasar Unity; Pasar Ikan Miri; Pasar Krokop Lorong 5 and Pasar Krokop Lorong 10.

The operations will continue until March 31. — DayakDaily
