MBKS will take action against those found vandalising council property

KUCHING, Oct 13: Kuching South City Council (MBKS) will take action against any individuals found vandalising the council’s property.

MBKS in a statement today said residents can make a police report or contact the council through WhatsApp at 016-8796441 should they witness vandalism taking place on the council’s properties.

In the meantime, MBKS mayor Dato Wee Hong Seng visited the Kenyalang Food Court on Oct 11 upon receiving a complaint from a resident that vandalism had occurred at the food court.

He praised the action of the resident who reported the incident to MBKS and pointed out that every resident is responsible of taking care of public property.

Wee also thanked the police for their prompt action, in which the perpetrator was successfully apprehended. — DayakDaily
