KUCHING, May 21: The Kuching South City Council (MBKS) counters will be open next weekend from May 28 to 29 to facilitate assessment bill payments.

MBKS mayor Dato Wee Hong Seng said the opening hours are from 8am to 4pm on Saturday (May 28) and from 8am to 12pm on Sunday (May 29).

“This is so that everyone can pay their assessment bills before the deadline on May 31.

“Those who have not made their payment, please do so as soon as possible to avoid the penalty,” he said during his ShallWeeTalk Facebook live session today.

To those who have yet to receive their assessment bill, Wee said they could bring a previous bill to the MBKS counter, and the staff could print the latest bill for them.

He said ratepayers may also opt for online payment methods through www.paybillmalaysia.com, https://service.sarawak.gov.my, Sarawak Pay, or internet banking. — DayakDaily
