KUCHING, June 27: The Kuching South City Council (MBKS) has been awarded the Sarawak State Public Service Records Management Evaluation and Appreciation Award (City and Municipal Council level) 2023 under the Best City/Municipal Council Category.
According to a press release, the award, organised by the Sarawak State Library, aims to recognise and appreciate city and municipal authorities that have implemented exemplary record management governance and compliance at the organizational level.
The award was presented by Sarawak State Secretary Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki and received by MBKS Acting City Secretary Wong Ming Kong.
This recognition underscores MBKS’s unwavering commitment to excellence and efficiency in managing public records.
Congratulating the management and staff of MBKS, its mayor Dato Wee Hong Seng highlighted the dedication and enthusiasm of MBKS in ensuring top-tier records management governance within the organization.
