Guided by the theme “Kasih Disulam, Komuniti Diperkasa”, the programme reflects MBKS’ commitment to caring for the community and ensuring that no one is left behind.

Wee expressed appreciation to sponsors for their corporate social responsibility (CSR) support that helped make the programme possible.

The sponsors included CCK Consolidated Holdings Berhad, PETROS, Tabung Baitulmal Sarawak, Sarawak Metro, Cahya Mata Sarawak Berhad, BODCO, Ibraco Berhad and Sarawak Energy Berhad (SEB).

The programme also served as a platform for councillors and MBKS staff to engage directly with residents.

Through the session, they listened to community concerns and gained a better understanding of local needs.

Wee also reminded residents to observe fire safety and stay alert against theft during the festive season, particularly when leaving their homes unattended.

Also present were MBKS deputy mayor Dato Zaeidi Suhaili, councillors, and community leaders. — DayakDaily
