MASwings to offer extra flights to Limbang from Kuching, Miri from April 28 to May 9

KUCHING, April 21: MASwings will mount additional flights in the form of an extra trip daily into Limbang from Kuching and Miri during the Hari Raya Aidilfitri peak travel period from April 28 until May 9 to accommodate the domestic travel surge of the two routes due to restricted movement across the Brunei border.

This came after MASwings noticed an influx of advance bookings made for flights into Limbang during the period following the full border reopening as Sarawak and Malaysia transition into the endemic phase since April 1 as well as the upcoming festive celebration.

According to a media release today, MASwings will offer six additional flights for the Kuching-Limbang route and 12 additional flights for Miri-Limbang route from April 28 until May 9, on top of its current frequencies of three flights weekly for the Kuching-Limbang route and 28 flights weekly for Miri-Limbang route.

MASwings chief executive officer (CEO) Captain Nasaruddin A. Bakar said being an airline for the people in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan FT, it is constantly striving to provide good and safe connectivity between the local communities to meet the traveling needs, especially during festive seasons.

These services will be operated on MASwings ATR72 500 aircraft and we are delighted to offer our coming Lebaran Salebration from as low as RM147 only for an all-in-one way ticket inclusive of taxes and a 20kg check-in baggage allowance during the period, whilst seats lasts.

Light refreshments on board are also included in the festive promotion fare offered as part of the MASwings’ continuous effort in offering the best of Malaysian hospitality, apart from ensuring comfort and safety of all passengers throughout the journey, especially during the current transition into endemic phase.
