MASwings announces additional flights for Miri-Bario route from July 24-30 in light of Pesta Nukunen

KUCHING, July 19: MASwings has announced additional flights between Miri and Bario from July 24 to 30 to accommodate travelers attending the 17th edition of the Bario Food and Cultural Festival.

In a press statement today, MASwings stated that the extra flights will increase the current 21 flights to 29, with three additional flights on July 25.

MASwings chief operating officer Suresh Singam said these extra flights are strategically scheduled to facilitate seamless travel for those attending the 17th edition of the Bario Food and Cultural Festival, or Pesta Nukunen, scheduled from July 25 to 27.

“We thank the Ministry of Transport Malaysia and the Malaysian Aviation Commission (MAVCOM) for granting the approval to enhance accessibility to Pesta Nukunen.

“Through collaborative initiatives like these, we aim to contribute to the growth of tourism in Sarawak while ensuring memorable travel experiences for our passengers,” he said.

The schedule for these extra flights will be available for sale and book through MASwings and Malaysia Airlines ticket offices, or at any appointed travel agents throughout Malaysia, or visit MASwings’ website www.maswings.com.my.
