KUCHING, Nov 26: Deputy Chief Minister Tan Sri Dr James Jemut Masing opines that the Members of Parliament are making the right move in supporting the Federal Budget for the benefit of the “rakyat”.
According to Masing, the passing of the Federal Budget 2021, even by very small margin, showed that the MPs are matured enough to allow for the government to continue administering the nation, especially in time of Covid-19 pandemic.
“Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin’s government, I believe, had done very well in managing the impact of Covid-19, and the MPs acknowledged that and voted this Budget through,” he said in a press statement today.
Masing pointed out the challenges posed by this health pandemic is a new deadly threat to Malaysia and the world.
“But our leaders are equal to the task and made the correct decisions to calm our people down from panicking.
“I really hope and pray that our MPs, from now onward, would reduce politicking and apply their knowledge and expertise to make this nation a better place for everybody regardless of religion or race,” added Masing. –DayakDaily.
