[UPDATED] Mas Gading remains under DAP as Mordi secures 17,274 votes

KUCHING, Nov 19: Mordi Bimol (PH-DAP) managed to retain the P192 Mas Gading seat with a majority of 5,480 votes in the 15th General Election (GE15).

Mordi secured 17,274 votes against Lidang Disen (GPS-PDP) with 11,794 votes and Sim Min Leong (PBK) with 2,311 votes.


The Mas Gading constituency has 47,171 registered voters.

“I will bring my supporters to discuss how to rebuild Mas Gading, and we will share with the youth on ideas and inputs,” said Mordi when asked to comment on his victory.

In the 14th General Election (GE14), Mordi won the seat with 12,771 votes, defeating incumbent Anthony Nogeh Gumbek (BN-PDP), who garnered 9,747 votes, giving Mordi a majority of 3,024. — DayakDaily
