KUCHING, June 22: Manchester United football legend Dwight Yorke made an appearance at the Manchester United Sarawak Supporters Club (MUSC) 5th Anniversary Gala Dinner in Kuching.
According to a report from the Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) today, Yorke was accompanied by Deputy Minister in the Premier’s Department (Corporate Affairs, Information and Ukas) Datuk Abdullah Saidol, Tupong assemblyman Fazzrudin Abdul Rahman, and MUSC president Datuk Dzulkarnaen Ahmad.
During the event, Fazzrudin welcomed Yorke to Sarawak and expressed his gratitude for his willingness to accept MUSC’s invitation.
He praised the cooperation and unity shown by all the Manchester United club members present, reflecting their shared love for football.
The dinner, held at the Riverside Hotel on June 21, also celebrated the 6th anniversary of United Malaysia, which is growing rapidly with impressive new members joining every year. — DayakDaily
