KUCHING, Aug 13: A 27-year-old driver landed in a drain after being thrown out of his car following a single-vehicle accident along Jalan Bulan Sabit.
According to a report from the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre today, they received the call regarding the incident at 3.47am and deployed firefighters from Bomba Miri to the location.
The injured male victim was thrown out of his multipurpose vehicle (MPV) and landed in a drain on the roadside.
“The victim was given initial medical treatment by Bomba Emergency Medical Rescue Service (EMRS) before being lifted out of the drain.
“He was later handed over to Ministry of Health (MOH) personnel for further action,” it added. — DayakDaily
