KUCHING, June 30: A man in his 40s was found dead after reportedly falling from the 14 th floor of a high-rise apartment along Jalan Batu Lintang this afternoon.
Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Batu Lintang responded to the emergency at 2.15pm and swiftly mobilised a team of firefighters to the scene.
Initial information indicated that the victim was believed to have fallen from the 14th floor and was later found on the fourth floor of the building.
Upon arrival, responders confirmed that the male victim, believed to be in his 40s, had already been pronounced dead at the scene by personnel from the Ministry of Health Malaysia.
Firefighters subsequently assisted in securing the scene before handing over the remains to the Royal Malaysia Police for further investigation.
The operation was brought under control at 2.45pm and officially concluded at 3.30pm. — DayakDaily
