MIRI, Sept 8: A man was found dead inside a locked room at a house in Kampung Senadin Jaya here early this morning.
The Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) received a call at 6.23am today requesting assistance to open the locked door at the house.
According to the operations command centre, firefighters from the Lutong Fire and Rescue Station arrived at the scene at 6.33am, about 10 minutes after receiving the call.
Upon their arrival, the room door had already been opened by members of the public where they found a man unconscious inside the room.
The victim was subsequently confirmed dead by Ministry of Health (MOH) personnel at the scene.
No rescue operation was required, with firefighters assisting in lifting the victim’s body before handing it over to the police.
The operation ended at 7.46am. — DayakDaily
