MIRI, March 10: A woman sustained bruises on her left arm when a next-door neighbour barged into her house at Jalan Cahaya here on Friday and attacked her with an iron pipe.
The bizarre 10pm episode allegedly was over the matter of fallen tree leaves. It was understood that the neighbour was pissed off seeing leaves from the tree next door falling onto his compound.
However, it was not immediately known how long the problem that triggered the violence has been going on.
The 40-something victim later lodged a report at the Miri Central police station (CPS), and police are investigating the case. — DayakDaily
