KUCHING, Sept 7: A 30-year-old man was arrested after drugs were found on his person at the carpark at Tasik Biru, Bau this morning.
Police arrested the suspect at 10am after spotting him acting suspiciously in a car at the carpark.
According to Bau District Police Chief, DSP Poge Nyaon, police later found one small transparent plastic packet with crystal-like substances believed to be methamphetamine weighing 1.11 grammes on the suspect.
The suspect tested positive for amphetamine and methamphetamine in the drug test. He will be remanded and investigated under Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952. — DayakDaily
