Mukah, Nov 26: A 46-year old man has been detained for allegedly being in possession 1175 Cartons and 200 boxes of illicit liquor at Jalan Mukah-Selangau yesterday.
The items worth RM226,000.

Mukah District Police Chief, DSP Billy Panyau said the arrest was made at about 1.55pm yesterday during a snap check on a trailer lorry.
“The suspect failed to furnish any documents from the custom department that the items had been approved after paying the tax,” he said.
The police later seized the beer and the lorry. The case is being investigated under Section 135 of the Customs Act 1967. – DayakDaily
