KUCHING, July 15: The new Siburan health clinic is expected to start operations by the end of this year, says Mambong assemblyman Datuk Dr Jerip Susil.
He said at the moment, the physical construction stage for the clinic has reached 95 per cent.
“It is expected to benefit 60,000 to 70,000 people in Siburan and nearby areas when fully operational,” he said during the ‘Majlis Premier Sarawak Bersama Kommuniti Di Siburan’ held at Siburan New Township today.
At the same time, Dr Jerip also requested the approval process for projects announced by Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg on November 15, 2022, at SJK Chung Hua Siburan, to be expedited.
He said it involves the construction of the Integrated Administration Centre (IAC) Siburan District, upgrading Siburan Hall, constructing the District Mosque, and establishing the Siburan District Council.
“This is so construction works can start immediately,” he added. — DayakDaily
