KUCHING, April 13: Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) is offering music lovers from all over the world several unbeatable deals to attend the Rainforest World Music Festival (RWMF) 2022.
Named as the official airline partner for the highly anticipated 25th edition of RWMF which will be held from June 17 to 19 at the Sarawak Cultural Village, MASWings chief operating officer who is representing MAG Capt Nasaruddin A Bakar said their aim is to bring in travelers worldwide to the Land of the Hornbills, Sarawak.
“Malaysia Airlines will offer early birds deals with up to 15 per cent discounts on selected flights including those from London, Australia and some ASEAN destinations. Firefly Airline, which recently launched its jet operations from Penang to Kuching, will also offer up to 10 per cent discounts.
“These tickets are available exclusively for those who purchase the RWMF 3-day pass through the airline’s respective websites. Customers are required to include a unique promo code to enjoy the great discounts on air tickets,” Nasaruddin said at a press conference after the launch of RWMF by Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Minister Datuk Seri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah today.
The sale starts from April 25 to May 14 for travels from June 1 to 20 for both airlines.
On the other hand, Nasaruddin added that customers can also opt to purchase the ‘value-for-flights’ deals, exclusively available on Journify that offers the MHflypass and a 3-day RWMF pass at a fixed attractive price.
The MHFlypass which gives customers full flexibility, convenience and control over their spending for the flights is available for purchase at RM1,774 with flights valid for one year.
They are also offering multiple payment options for customers to choose including an instalment plan.
“The collaboration is part of MAG’s continuation and partnership with Sarawak Tourism Board (STB) where Malaysia Airlines, Firefly and Journify offer unbeatable deals to drive visitors to Sarawak.
“It also marks great progress which will see both brands ramping up our marketing efforts to promote Malaysia as a whole since the reopening of borders and Sarawak’s reputation as a safe destination choice for 2022.
“We hope by playing our part in rebuilding the tourism industry and stimulating domestic and international travel, it will help support the value chain of industry players such as travel agents, product owners, local artisans and business partners,” Nasaruddin said.
He assured that MAG will continue to work closely with STB to create more varieties, availability and choices of flight; promote reasonable flight fares and attract more passengers through Malaysia Airlines and Firefly and Journify’s website and app, making it seamless for travelers to plan and book their trips. — DayakDaily
