KUCHING, July 3: Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak will be charged in court tomorrow for offences related to 1MDB.
The former prime minister was arrested by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) at his home in Jalan Langgak Duta, Kuala Lumpur, at 2.35pm today.
Confirming the arrest through a joint press statement, 1MDB special task force members Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail, Tan Sri Abu Kassim Mohamed, Datuk Sri Mohd Shukri Abdull and Datuk Abdul Hamid Bador said Najib was also arrested for offences related to SRC International Sdn Bhd.
He has been taken to the MACC headquarters and will be brought to the Kuala Lumpur Court Complex to face charges at 8.30am tomorrow. — DayakDaily
