KUCHING, July 17: A power outage at midnight last night has caused a sudden drop in water pressure and water supply interruption throughout Sarawak, including several areas in Kuching.

However, the Kuching Water Board (KWB) in a notice today informed that all pumps are fully operational at 4am this morning and water pressure was slowly being restored.

“Kuching Water Board wishes to inform consumers that due to the SEB (Sarawak Energy Berhad) power outage of July 17 at 12.30am, consumers on higher ground areas will experience a sudden drop in water pressure or no water served by pumps directly.
