MIRI, March 13: A 38-year-old lorry driver has been remanded for two days to facilitate investigation into a case where he allegedly quarrelled with his 53-year-old girlfriend at Poliklinik Miri in Jalan Merbau on Monday (March 11).
According to the charge sheet, the quarrel happened at about 8.30 while his girlfriend was receiving medical treatment. This prompted the on-duty medical personnel to call up security for assistance.
The accused was later handed over to the police for further action. — DayakDaily
