KUCHING, July 1: A 28-year-old lorry driver sustained injuries after crashing his vehicle along Jalan Demak Laut early this morning.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Tabuan Jaya responded to the emergency at 6.37am and found the driver trapped inside the lorry upon arrival.

Firefighters quickly assessed the situation and used special rescue tools to extricate the victim from the wreckage.
He remained conscious throughout the rescue operation but suffered injuries.
The driver was then handed over to paramedics from the Ministry of Health for further medical treatment. — DayakDaily
