BAU, March 14: A 35-year-old lorry driver was found unconscious in a pool of blood at a workers’ quarters of a quarry in Jalan Keranji here yesterday.
Bau district police chief DSP Poge Nyaon said the police received an emergency call at 4.30pm.
“The man was rushed to Bau Hospital for treatment. He is reported to be in stable condition and would be referred to Sarawak General Hospital for further treatment,” he said in a statement today.
The police confiscated a knife at the scene.
The case is being investigated under Section 309 of the Penal Code. — DayakDaily
