KUCHING, March 8: A Sarawak Energy Bhd substation at Lorong Piasau Jaya, Miri, caught fire yesterday evening.
Fire and Rescue personnel were immediately deployed to the scene after receiving a distress call at around 9pm.
Firefighters managed to put the fire under control before it spread to surrounding vicinity.
At press time, the cost of damages and cause of fire have yet to be ascertained.
No injuries were reported in the incident. — DayakDaily
