MIRI, Aug 30: Miri City Caring Society is seeking the help of the public to locate the next-of-kin of the late Wong Koh Lee, 45, for funeral and burial arrangements.

The deceased passed away at Miri Hospital on August 19 after being admitted due to illness on August 18, and his remains have yet to be claimed as of August 30.

The deceased has a tattoo of a dragon on his right arm and chest and other tattoos on his left arm and wrist.

His last known address was not immediately known as he was admitted to the hospital after being found unwell by passersby at the Miri Hospital bus stand on August 18.

Miri City Caring Society is urgently appealing to the next-of-kin or anyone who knows of their whereabouts to contact the association or Miri Hospital which has already tried to contact Wong’s next-of-kin but was unsuccessful despite attempts made.

If no next-of-kin can be traced by September 4, the association will proceed to assist Miri Hospital to arrange for the release of his body and cremation.

The family of the late Wong Koh Lee or anyone who know their whereabouts may contact the association’s representative Philip Kiew (019-8847726) for further arrangement. — DayakDaily
